I graduated summa cum laude with a master's degree in English. While I was in grad school I spent five years teaching college students the fundamentals of rhetoric and good writing. One of my favorite aspects of teaching was sitting down one-on-one with my students and getting to know their interests and needs as they evolved into stronger, more compelling writers.
