I retired from teaching in Virginia in 2011. My teaching experience includes grades 1 through 8 with a concentration in grades 5 and 6. My colleagues selected me as teacher of the year in 1996 as well as in 2010. My goal is to help students learn in a meaningful way for them. I will go the extra mile to ensure that my lessons are customized to suit the best learning styles of a student.
