After 35 years of teaching mathematics, primarily geometry and algebra 1, I have retired. My favorite part of teaching has always been that, teaching, not grading. Math really can be easy and fun, given ways to simplify topics and to pick up background skills that may be slowing a student's progress.

I am a certified teacher, and I've worked with students one on one for many years after school. There is a lot to be said for the comfort of working one on one. It's a no fear zone.
