I recommend this class for people highly interested in cultural music and the meaning behind it. This is not simply an simple music class. There are 2 big papers (25% of grade) but they are not bad. Just be aware that this course is not an simple A like I thought. Also, TAs are not that accommodating, confusing at times. Overall though a fun course :) |

Not a bad prof.. courses may put you to sleep, but every now and then, he plays some catchy song that will most likely keep you awake. exams are based entirely off the readings, but the readings have so much material, so you have to keep up. exams are pretty simple though, but your grade on the papers depends on your TA. Not exactly an simple A. |
