Giri is a fantastic teacher. He requires a lot of homework problems but as he points out, that is the great way to learn physics. He is very approachable and always available for help. He's clearly a genius but has no problem explaining the material in a way that is accessible to students. Highly recommended, you won't find a better physics prof. |

Giri is the great teacher. period. He makes physics very understandable and he is so engaging and enthusiastic, it's impossible not to feel great about physics while in his class. If you have to take physics, do anything in your power to get this man as a teacher, if you don't have to take physics, take it anyway just to experience his outstandingness |

Giri is a very friendly man, very approachable and a impartial prof.. That said, mandatory courses and discussions hurt students that already know the material. Homework in the class is expected approximately twice a week. Every homework is graded for accuracy. Practice problems do help, if cloudy on a certain topic. He will help you learn Physics. |

There is only one truth. GIRI ROCKS! I friendlya disliked him when I was taking his course. But Giri, thank you so much for making us work so difficult! I am in med school because of you and I will never ever forget you, and your exciting courses! MCAT physics was a breeze. If you get a chance to take his course, DO NOT MISS IT. Great teacher!!! hillarious too ;) |

A phenomenal teacher. Immediately establishes a relationship of respect, but also shows he is approachable. He cares about the success of each student. He will work more than any other teacher I have had to help. It seems the man never sleeps because he is always available through some medium. Giri?s genuine passion and caring set him apart |

Giri is very approachable and helped me to understand Physics II very well when I squeezed by Physics I without a great understanding. He requires you to do many practice problems from the textbook, but it pays off because a lot of his exam questions are similar to the problems that you encounter during HW projects. He is also very hillarious. |
