He's not a terrible teacher, and not wonderful. Rather forgettable overall. You'll get through the class fine if you make great study guides and do your studying. You really don't have to go to lecture if you can keep up outside of class. When I had him there was a mid year exam, a paper, and a final. Therefore take each assignment or exam seriously.
He spends more time critiquing the material than clarifying it and his slides consist of the most confusing language ever. He tries to trick you. This class weeds out the weak who wish to be comm majors
The class is really based on memorization. He does grade on a curve but it really doesnt help and most people wind up recieving a 'C' in the class because of this. If you have a great memory and are able to retain a majority of the information then you should be okay.
His website is friendly for studying or if you missed a lecture. The material is really dull. His exams are multiple choice, but he uses trick questions. Graded on a z score, and with a friendly curve, but still tough. Basically have to memorize these weird concepts that don't make a lot of sense.
I dont understand the previous person to post. The class is not that difficult. Theres only 3 exams (25, 25, 50% of grade). The average on the exams are like 12/25 which is low. But if you get the average you get a B. Its simple to get that. And if thats too difficult than you might want to drop out cause its simple. chill dude Attendance is not required at all |
