I think Foster is a pretty great prof.. I never went into office hours for help, but I find it difficult to imagine that he would be as condescending as the last reviewer said he was. Overall I thought he was pretty clear during courses and I definitely think he's a great choice for cmsc330. |

I couldn't use the book because there was no book. Instead we used his artfully designed PowerPoint slides, complete with spelling and grammatical errors. When I went to ask him for help he said I wanted to be "spoonfed", then suggested I was too stupid or lazy to understand the material. Only 4 or 5 people showed up to class on a regular basis. |
