Great prof., very very friendly hearted however his courses are very dull that I skipped almost the entire semester and still got B's on my mid year exam and exams. Writing intensive tho. About 50 pages typed.
Finsterbusch can be dull and he does ramble, but he is old. If you read and participate in discussion, you'll be fine. You need to be able to write for this class. He is accommodating if you send him emails or meet with him. Argue with him- he likes you more if you participate and have an opinion.
Very old fashion. Took him last semester, Fall '09, SOCY 305. He talks and talks and talks your ears off. Attendance isn't mandatory at all, however, his courses are based on his assigned readings. His readings are very dated. 1970's material, and are very difficult to read because of how dated and dull it all is. great luck taking this |
