This class is really fascinating, material isn't necessarily an simple A, but there is a ton of opportunities for extra credit that can make up for any bad grade. |

I disliked this class and prof. Rothman as well. She spends most of her time mocking students & trying to catch students online or texting. She tends to make a lot of jokes that I could do without. This is not an "simple A" course. There are multiple readings a week, projects and performances you must attend and she grades roughly on projects. |

She is so hillarious and makes the topic fascinating. It is such an simple class if you just read a short story once a week tests boost your grade. I highly recommend this |

Dr. Rothman is hilarious! She makes class so much fun and has a great sense of humor. The workload isn't bad (2 play reviews, tests, and 2 exams) and the courses are pretty fascinating. Definitely attend lecture b/c attendance counts towards your grade! |

simple class. Just make sure you review your notes and the reading before the tests. She's very simplegoing, and you get TONS of extra credit. You should get an A in this class if you attend it occasionally, read, and don't miss any tests. |

You'll either dislike or love this class. I didn't like it at all-- Some people found it fun, but it took up too much of my time and I couldn't relate to Dr. Rothman, nor did I like her. She grades roughly on writing and gives projects/projects like her class is our only class we have to worry about. |

Dr. Rothman is a great teacher. I had her for HONR238D, which is an honors seminar about musicals. She really has a passion for musical theater and makes the class a lot of fun. She always has hillarious stories to tell and she gives lots of extra credit. Amazing teacher and outstanding class!! |
