Prof. Mann was an ok prof. She assigned a lot of readings which you had to read to complete the weekly papers she assigned. Also her teaching style was more on the dull side. But the great thing about her is that she is not a difficult grader. projects: 10 papers, one 12-page final, and participation counted heavily towards the final grade.
She is very attractive and intelligent. Demands students to be caught up with class readings at all times and to come prepared to speak about them. Very clearly explains course concepts and is able to detect when the class does and doesn't understand something. Expects students to back up opinions with scholarly research.
fascinating class. One of the most thought provoking. She knows what she is talking about and prefers when the class involves discussion/debate. She loves to assign readings and weekly 2-3 page papers, but it isn't anything an upper-level undergrad can't handle. Do the readings and go to class and you'll be fine.
She expects so much work, she wants us to read like 50 plus pages twice a week and write a 3 page paper for and undergrad class, she is a lonely feminist, don't bother raising your hand because anything you say that she don't agree she'll make you look stupid in front of everyone that's why no one speaks. Stay away.
difficult, wants u to fail
Really difficult, not worth it, was interested but she makes things so difficult and doesn't understand that other students are taking a full load school schedeul. Not taking anymore courses with her .
