The Smith School Women's Society is making efforts to expand its constituency to women across the Maryland campus. In accordance with this initiative, SSWS is collaborating with the Society of Women Engineers and Alpha Omega Epsilon to host Deloitte Consulting for a corporate information session with a focus on women in the workforce. As one of the Big Four and a dedicated contributor to University of Maryland education, particularly within the business school, Deloitte Consulting is a venue for many internship opportunities, as well as a good source of advice regarding the recruitment process. Deloitte has consistently been ranked among the top places to launch a career. From the company's website, "Professionals come to Deloitte LLP for the opportunity to provide audit and risk, consulting, financial advisory or tax services to some of the biggest companies in the world and to provide the internal and support services that make it all possible. And they stay for the challenges they discover along the way."  The event will be held in room 3201 of the J.M. Patterson Building this Thursday, September 24th, at 6:30 PM and is expected to last until about 8 PM.
