Business Golf Club

Already approved by the SGA, the Business Golf Club was recently accepted into SUSA. If you did not catch them at SUSA’s First Look Fair, do not miss them at the Student Union!
This club aims to provide business golf etiquette while letting its members play rounds of golf at discounted rates. For those who were not able to enroll in the kinesiology golf course when they registered, this is an excellent opportunity to learn how golf fits into the corporate world (and how to play it!).
The club is open to the entire university, not just the business school, because golf outings are popular for many different types of companies, not just those in the finance department, for instance. It is also an opportunity for women, who are often stereotyped out of the business golf category, to learn golf as a networking tool, giving women a competitive advantage when entering interviews or social events on the golf course.
The Business Golf Club will require a small membership due to cover funding for speakers and a championship tournament, but everything else will be pay-as-you-go. In this way, one may regulate how many games one wants to play and pay for just that. As a startup club, the Business Golf Club has a lot of potential!
