Dear Readers,
My name is Collin Berglund and I am the Editor-in-Chief of your weekly newspaper, The Munch. The Munch is the official newspaper of SUSA, the Smith Undergraduate Student Association. Run for and by students, The Munch staff is enthusiastic to serve the Smith community as a main resource for information and updates. Most importantly, The Munch gives a voice to the Terp business students. We want to hear your stories, achievements and obstacles during your time here at Smith. As one of the top business schools in the nation- and rising in the ranks every year, our students deserve to have their successes broadcasted.
Over the past several years, The Munch has been in and out of production, struggling to find its footing in the Smith Community. With the help of a great staff, the support of all of SUSA, and our advisor Dave Wilmes, we have managed to finally find that footing. This semester The Munch will be published in hard copy every Wednesday in Rudy’s Café (located in VMH). In our efforts to stay eco-friendly, we will also have more frequent news updates and articles posted online at www.themunchonline.com (but you already know this since you’re here J).
In addition, any student can also submit an article, photo, or story to The Munch, without being a part of the staff (See “Contact Us” for further details). However, as a group of dedicated and talented students, our staff is always looking to add new members to The Munch team for the future success of the paper. We’re look forward to providing Smith students with their first school-wide business newspaper!
