A packed crowd of professionally dressed business majors filled Samuel Riggs Alumni Center for the annual Smith School Career Fair on Friday.
After talking with representatives from different organizations, students said they felt more hopeful about securing a job upon graduation.
Junior finance major Andrew Tang said he was looking at the event as “practice” for him, since he is preparing himself to talk to more recruiters in the future.
Junior finance major Walter Pineda, who attends the Universities at Shady Grove, said “…Being a junior and all, I have limited experience.” He wants to get to know people at more companies, putting himself in a solid position to enter the workforce after graduating.
