The SUSA Assembly is starting off the Fall 2009 semester with a lot of initiatives in place to get the entire Smith student body more involved in the improvement of their education experience. One of the ways the Assembly hopes to accomplish this goal is through Major Representatives.
Previously, each SUSA club and committee is required to have a designated and committed representative attend every meeting. These representatives and the officers comprised the Assembly. There are now going to be representatives from each major, as well. Their job is to keep updated on issues regarding classes, networking events, career opportunities, etc. within their respective majors. SUSA would like to encourage everyone to make suggestions for academic and social improvements within their majors. If you do not know who represents your particular major, feel free to send an e-mail to susa.,admin@gmail.com (Chris Corragio) or come to an assembly meeting (as they are open to all!).
